Absolutely fantastic trompe l'oeil style carved wooden umbrella by artist Tiffany Hopkinson (1988). While it's difficult to find anything about her, Hopkinson's pieces pop up from time to time and are favorite statement pieces of stylists and decorators.
The light colored "fabric" contrasts beautifully with the darker wood handle, spindle, and holder.
